Snow Ultimate

This Chrismas, Denver got hit by a huge snowstorm. Then, just a week later, we got another one. Most of the city shut down. So, of course, a bunch of us got together and played some ultimate.

Here are Carlos and Lukas battling it out for a Frisbee. At least I think there's a Frisbee in there. They might have just been wrestling. |

This is my favorite shot of the day. Rick is on defense on the left. He had just deflected the Frisbee. But it popped up just enought that Larry, on the right, was able to make the catch.

Susan just made a throw. Joe is running. Tobin is in position to make the catch, but I don't think he was on Susan's team. |

Susan was in the end-zone. The throw was over her head. But she managed to tip it up enough and she fell backwards. The Frisbee landed on her while she was landing on her back. This is her raising the Frisbee to show that she caught it. |

I think that Larry, on the right, threw this to Tobin, who made the catch. Rick and Peter, in the middle of the shot, are on defense. |

I'll admit it upfront: This is a staged shot.
This is Kirk making an incredible catch while Lukaas tries to defend him. The fact that this was after the game should not impact how cool it is. |

Like I said; it was tough running in the snow. Carlos took a nap afterward. |
