She's one of Kirk's oldest friends.

She actually lives in Berkeley and works for TransFair, but she was in town for a conference and wouldn't have missed her old friend's birthday dinner.

She's actually a very pretty woman, but normally she doesn't have a lemon in her mounth.

Sara Anderson was there.

She's Kirk's wife, so she had to be there.

She's an exceptionally pretty woman. She's very animated when she talks, which explains the way her earring is swinging!

Melissa Moore was there.

She's a good friend of both Kirk and Sara, so it was really nice having her there.

She's pregnant and she had to tour the maternity ward where she'll be birthing, so she was a little late.

She and her husband Eric, gave Kirk Batman Begins and a really cool card that Melissa made herself. It was really cool.

Darren was there.

He's Vail's husband.

He's actually an attractive man, but he normally doesn't have his tongue hanging out his mouth like that.

He and Vail gave Kirk a very funny handmade kit for applying vinyl letters. The instructions are hilarious.

That glob of hair on his chest is his and Vail's lovely daughter, Maddy. She was sleeping by the time the camera came out.
