Denver Skyline Desktops (Posted 1/17/06 , Updated 6/29/06, and again on 12/29/07) I finally figured took a good photo of the moon over Denver. And good thing I did, too. I took this photo in October of 2006 and we sold our condo in December of 2006. Why did it take so long to post the photo? Because I took a power line out of the photo and it took me a year.
Here are all my old shots:
I took these photos off of my deck in Capitol Hill, a neighborhood east of Downtown Denver. The bright light you see in the first two photos is the moon. It was full on these two mornings and I loved the way it looked over the city as the sun was coming up behind me. I still haven't figured out how to photograph the full moon well, but the bottom two photos show the sliver of the waning moon well. Click on the small image to get the bigger photo for your desktop.
